where the wild roses grow

t-shirts with embroidery details have been very much in trend recently and, frankly speaking, there are loads of inspirations from pinterest, tumblr, instagram, you name it. i am, personally, in love with this trend. besides the fact that i got another diy project to undertake (you know how much i love to do it), it also makes a plain t-shirt look so much cooler. at first, i'm kind of not sure on what i should put on my shirt until i came across this video by nadyne bernier on youtube. it inspired me so much that i decided to put a rose on my shirt, but i made it slightly different because i wanted to focus on the petals of the rose--and not the whole flower. it took me two days to do this as i did it after coming home from college and i usually came home around 5 or 6 p.m., so i didn't have that much time to finish it on the same day. all in all, i couldn't be happier with how the result turned out because it's very pretty. j'adore!

without having any further thoughts, i know that this t-shirt would go along with monochromatic items. that's why i opt for black jeans and also my versatile converse shoes. i decided to knot my denim shirt around my waist just to give a little bit of detail. but, i guess, it turns out good and gives a little pops of color.
